We are looking for PM line cook for Sunday through Thursday at Barbarian in Stowe. We are open to hiring full time or part time staff for this role. Experience is a plus but we are more than willing to teach an enthusiastic beginner. At Barbarian we serve upscale American classics with flare. Hours are flexible and starting pay is $18.00/hour plus tips. Average hourly pay with tips is between $22-24/hour

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by efficiently handling multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in every meal served
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient inventory management to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting appreciated but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role
